Corel Unveils CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 Curriculum at NECC

Corel Corporation today introduced new free curriculum for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3. The first lesson plans are now available from www.corel.com and can be seen at the Corel booth (#3201) at NECC (National Educational Computing Conference) in San Diego this week.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 curriculum is designed to teach students how to integrate graphics and images into virtually every aspect of their schoolwork, providing them with essential skills that will serve them in any field later in life. Created for students in middle and high school, this complete program features integrated lesson plans that link directly into core curriculum with unit studies and video training, as well as cognitive and interpersonal skills development. Each complete program includes lynda.com training videos, practice sheets, worksheets, lesson plans, and templates to help teachers prepare students for successful business careers.

Over the coming months, additional curriculum will be available from www.corel.com. Subject areas will include History, Geography, Science, Mathematics, Language Arts and Media Studies. The curriculum will be geared primarily to Middle School (grades 7 – 9) and High School (grades 10 – 12), although lessons can be adapted to younger grades.
