Wacom Intuos3 6 x 11 USB Tablet review from Digital Producer

The Intuos3 6×11 is the latest addition to Wacom‘s high-end line of pressure-sensitive pen tablets. Sporting exactly the same base features as the other models in the line, the new configuration offers a wide aspect for a more natural feel when working with wide-format displays and multiple displays.

The Intuos3 6×11 has everything my usual Intuos3 6×8 has, but with the very handy addition of more usable tablet surface. And for just $40 more than the 6″ x 8″ model, I think it’s worth it. In fact, the only reason I could see not going for it would be limited desk space, as the 6×11 model takes up 16.5 inches horizontally, as compared with the 6×8’s 13.6 inches. (On my keyboard tray, the 6×11 model fits, along with a Matias Tactile Pro keyboard, with about an inch to spare. The Tactile Pro is the same size as an Apple Pro Keyboard. My tray is 36 inches wide.) Even if you don’t use multiple monitors or have a wide-format monitor, the additional working surface will be welcome. I give the Intuos3 6×11 a Strong Buy recommendation.
