AREA is now live!

Autodesk is thrilled to announce the availability of a new community website focused on artists and developers using Autodesk® Maya®, Autodesk® 3ds Max®, Autodesk® Motion Builder™ or Autodesk® VIZ software products in games, film, post production or design visualization.

A one-stop-shop for Autodesk 3D, this site is made by you and made for you. Autodesk will provide content as appropriate and support the ongoing development of the site, but the goal is for the community to generate and own most of the content. This is YOUR site.

What you’ll see:

  • Searchable Tips & Tutorials for beginner, intermediate and advanced users
  • Downloads for product trials, textures and shaders, plug-ins and scripts
  • A showcase section that will include image and movie galleries, member portfolios and “Behind the Screenz”, a section containing stories focused on artists and developers – look out for new podcast interviews with community members
  • Blogs from the Autodesk product development team amongst others
  • Your discussion forums have now migrated to a new platform, in one location!

Visit the AREA now and register! Membership is free.

Best Regards,

Autodesk
